M Viivi Step-Out Button

Clicking the Step-Out Button in the initial/terminated-states changes the step-mode to STEP-OUT mode.

Clicking it in the halted-state changes the step-mode to STEP-OUT mode, and then proceeds the evaluation by one-step.

Clicking it in the evaluating-state proceeds the evaluation to an appropriate point, halts the evaluation, and then changes the step-mode to STEP-OUT mode.
