E Viivi Prompt and Input-Line

The symbol 'E' refers to the component 'E' in the figure.

When input from the keyboard is available, the Prompt ">" is shown and the Input-Line becomes enabled.
When input from the keyboard is not available, the Prompt is not shown and the Input-Line is disabled.
