Viivi version 00.35.00 (alpha) release notes
The following point was changed in this version.
-
Built on Java 17
Starting with Viivi 00.35.00 we have decided to build it on Java 17.
Therefore, JRE 17 or higher is required to run Viivi.
Please make sure to install JRE 17 or higher before using Viivi.
Please note that Viivi will not run on older JRE environments.
This is to avoid unstable operations due to the old JRE 8 environment.
Thank you for your understanding.

Automatic Viewport Scrolling in I/O-Port-Windows
A feature to automatically scroll the viewport has been added.
In the previous versions, if the I/O window was small,
the orange cursor would appear outside the viewport of the window
and would not be visible.
In this version, the viewport in the I/O-port-window is automatically
moved so that the orange cursor is always visible inside the window.
-
Viewport Moving Keys on I/O-Port-Windows
When Viivi pauses evaluation, the viewport in the I/O window
can be moved by using some keys, in addition to using the mouse
to move the scroll bar.
-
[Up Arrow] key ... Scrolls up the viewport.
-
[Down Arrow] key ... Scrolls down the viewport.
-
[TAB] key ...
-
Circularly displays the orange cursors corresponding to
the current evaluation.
-
When you select a part within the output window with
violet cursors, it circularly displays the violet cursors.
In the future, the [PageUp], [PageDown], [Home], [End] keys
will be implemented to work for viewport moving.
